Combining her love for art and simple way of living, Rene' Earnhardt developed the shelterpublishing lifestyle apparel brand. Proudly named after her small town roots from RURAL Retreat, Virginia and having been born into a family of creative artists, she developed a sincere affinity for natural raw talent that lies within so many undiscovered artists. 

"I'm blessed beyond measures to have been raised to appreciate the simple things in life. Each beautiful creation reminds me of my Dad's late nights of lettering race cars, business signs or doodling on a scrap piece of paper. It's the perfectly imperfect stitching in each hat patch, that takes me back to my childhood of sitting at the feet of my Grandmother's sewing machine as she pedaled away making dresses and aprons." says Rene'. 

She does not take the beauty in nature for granted, nor the beauty that lies within the blessings that have come her way. " I'm thankful for all the bridges I've crossed and opportunities that have knocked at my door.
